who we are

Fowlboys Sdn Bhd runs Fowlboys Diner at The Campus and The MET in Kuala Lumpur. Questions about this page or about your data: email hello@fowlboyskl.com.

what we collect

Forms

When you ask for a table, a party or catering, we receive what you type in: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, the date, how many people and your note. It comes to us by email and is kept in our website host’s form records (Netlify). We use it only to reply to you and plan your visit, and it is never sent to Meta or Google.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

This site uses the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta which pages you open, and when you tap directions, call, WhatsApp or the menu on a diner’s page. We also send those taps from our own server through Meta’s Conversions API, together with your IP address, your browser details and Meta’s cookies, so Meta can match them to the same visit. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show them to people who are likely to visit.

Google Ads tag

On the diner pages, Google counts a visit when you arrive from one of our Google ads. Ad personalisation is switched off for this tag.

Tap counts

On /hello we count which link was tapped. Nothing about you is kept with the count.

cluck club

When you join Cluck Club, our rewards programme, we keep your name, phone number and email (if you gave one) with your points and visits in our till system (Eats365).

We also use your phone number to show you Fowlboys ads on Facebook and Instagram, such as news of a new diner near you or an offer for members, and to keep ads meant for first-time guests away from you. To do this we send members’ phone numbers to Meta as a Custom Audience. Each number is turned into a scrambled code (hashed) on our side before it is sent. Meta uses the codes to find matching accounts and then deletes them. Meta does not receive your name, points or visits.

To leave this list, email hello@fowlboyskl.com or tell the team at the counter. We take your number out of the audience within 21 days and keep it out of every later upload. Your points stay as they are.

cookies

The Meta Pixel sets cookies called _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad. On the diner pages the Google Ads tag sets _gcl_au. They are this site’s own cookies and last up to 90 days. You can clear them, or block cookies for fowlboys.com, in your browser’s settings.

saying no

  • Meta: in Facebook or Instagram, go to Accounts Centre → Your information and permissions → Your activity off Meta technologies, and disconnect or clear it. Ad preferences there also control which ads you see.
  • Cluck Club: in Facebook or Instagram, go to Accounts Centre → Ad preferences → Manage info → Audience-based advertising to see businesses that uploaded your details and hide their ads. To leave our list altogether, see Cluck Club above.
  • Google: My Ad Center ↗.
  • This site: a content blocker stops the Meta Pixel in your browser, but taps on a diner’s page are also sent to Meta from our server, with your IP address and browser details. Meta’s “Your activity off Meta technologies” setting above covers both. Questions: hello@fowlboyskl.com.

your rights

Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to stop us using it for marketing. Email hello@fowlboyskl.com and we will reply within 21 days.

We don’t sell your data. Meta, Google, our till system (Eats365) and the companies that host this site (Netlify) and our email receive it only as described above, under their own terms.

If this page changes, the new version goes here with a new date.
